Beck Family Reunion
Keyleigh
After Beck's party, Keyleigh and I did a test run for her senior portraits. Here are some of my favorites.
HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY BECK!
This was a fun one. A hayride at Uncle Joey and Aunt Djuana's followed by joint gifts that I don't have to keep at my house. Yay!

Dave
Yes. Again. This time in Dallas. Beck stayed the weekend with his Uncle Joey and Aunt Djuana and experienced his first County Fair. I don't remember camels being at the fair when I was a kid but that seems to be his favorite part.
Fun Fact: Halfway through the concert we realized that the couple next to us was the same couple that sat next to us at the Tulsa show last year. Weird.

Big Dam Bridge
We spent part of the day at the Big Dam Bridge today. It felt great. It was one of the first days in a really long time that it hasn't been scorching hot. Beck was a big fan of looking for fish and turtles in the water.
Fayetteville
We went to Fayetteville this weekend to watch the Razorbacks play against Tennessee Tech. We met Myra (my college roommate) and her husband Barry there and did some catching up. After the game we caught up with Beth and Wilson at their new abode. It was much needed grown-up time.

WM3 Benefit
Johnny Depp, Eddie Vedder, Patty Smith, Natalie Maines, Ben Harper and more all on one stage for a rally/concert in support of the West Memphis Three.
Cookout
Amanda and Laz invited us over for dinner at their new apartment. Cuban dancing, old cheerleading routines and shenanigans ensued.
Invitation photos
I can't believe my baby is about to be 3-years-old! These are some shots I took for his Birthday invitation.
Chuck E. Cheers
Potty training is hard, y'all! We have been giving Beck rewards for using the potty and he apparently has heard about Chuck E. Cheese from the kids at day care. We found this out one Friday night when we were going to dinner at Cheers and he explained to us that he "liked Chuck E. Cheers" - poor kid.
Turns out Chuck E. Cheese is a.) much smaller than I remember b.) less fun than I remember and c.) WAY dirtier than I remember. It's just plain gross. And get with the program already... 20+ years of the same terrible animatronics, tokens and cashing in tickets for 1 cent prizes?Time for an upgrade, Chuck.
