Job (& Job)

Failed to mention I am now a full-time employee for Petit Jean Meats. I am working from home and loving it. Last weekend I was able to meet a very special kid named Job McCully. He is a big fan of Petit Jean Hot Dogs and he threw out the first pitch at the Arkansas Travelers game to help us kick-off National Hot Dog Month.

Father's Day

We went to Melissa's house for dinner on Father's Day. I managed to convince Brad's family to let me take a few family photos, minus a couple of family members.

Fun in the Sun!

We played in the sprinklers today. It's pretty much the only way to tolerate the outdoors these days.

Smokey Joe's Cafe

I was able to see Alyssa twice in one week! We were able to have some grown-up time and took in Smokey Joe's Cafe at the Rep.

Fun with Books

We went to the Main Library last weekend for music by Brian and Terri Kinder. Beck had way more fun with the books. We were also able to hang out with Alyssa, Malia and Charley which we haven't done in a very long time. Fun.

Today was "Wacky Hair Day" at daycare. We didn't have a lot of options.

I love parties. I especially love throwing them.

We had an engagement party for Amanda and Laz a few weeks ago at Sandra and Jeremy's house. It turned out really well and we are so happy for both of them. Special thanks to Valerie Skinner of Storybook Photography for helping us capture the night.

Uncle John's Wedding

My Uncle John got married on Petit Jean Mountain a couple of weeks ago. Congratulations Uncle John and Sandy!

Gulf Shores

We were able to get away a few weeks ago and take Beck to the beach. We met Laura, Josh and Ayla there and had a great time. Yay for no oil! I was also able to catch one of my faves, Brett Dennen.
