Snow Days

We have been iced in the last few days which has brought Beck two new experiences...sledding and hot chocolate. He was a fan of both.

My Birthday

I had a night out for my birthday last weekend with old and new friends. It was full of interesting characters.

Nap Time

I tried to be sneaky while Beck was taking his nap today. It didn't work but he popped right up for a photo opp. What a ham.

Snow

We had our first snow of the year last week. Beck had fun trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue.

Murder at the Four Dueces

We hosted a Murder Mystery last night for New Year's Eve. We transformed Sandra and Jeremy's house into a 1920's Speakeasy and everyone dressed their parts. It was SO fun and I think we are going to make it into an annual event.

2009

We had some great times in 2009. I got a new job, we took some fun trips, saw some great shows (have I mentioned we met Eddie Vedder!), had our first family portraits taken, Brad's dad was able to come home and we have watched Beck turn from a baby into a little boy. Can't wait to see what is in store for 2010!

Christmas 09

This was probably our best Christmas as a family. Beck really "got it" this year and loved opening presents and being the center of attention. Also, Brad's dad was able to come home a couple of weeks before Christmas. They have been in Houston undergoing and recovering from his second stem cell transplant.
