Gulf Shores

We were able to get away a few weeks ago and take Beck to the beach. We met Laura, Josh and Ayla there and had a great time. Yay for no oil! I was also able to catch one of my faves, Brett Dennen.

Derby Day

I worked the Julep Cup Jaunt at UAMS this weekend. And yes, I had the biggest hat there.

Nickelodeon Storytime Live

We took Beck and Ayla to Nickelodeon's Storytime Live in Memphis last weekend. It was quite the production...from a 2-year-old standpoint. They had a great time and also enjoyed their first Rendezvous experience.

Easter

The past few weeks have not been the greatest. We found out that my mom has lung cancer and she had surgery to remove part of her lung about a week and a half ago. She got out of the hospital on Friday, only to be re-admitted today after 8 hours in the ER with pancreatitis.

In the two days that we were not busy at the hospital--Easter happened.

LR Marathon

Brad ran the half-marathon again this year and we actually saw him finish this time. We've missed him crossing the finish line for the last two years. Beck was so excited to finally see his daddy after asking where he was ALL morning.

Century League Mardi Gras Ball

We went to the Century League Charity Ball last night in Morrilton and Beck spent the night with Brad's parents for the first time. He loved it.

Lizzy's Birthday

We went to Playworld in Conway for Lizzy's 7th birthday party a few weeks ago. Beck was the youngest one there but it didn't stop him from having fun.
