10-Year Anny!

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Eureka Springs. Newly-ENGAGED Haylee and Ryan joined.

We may or may not have seen a ghost cat.

Branson

We spent the weekend in Branson last week with Grammy and Grandad. We rode the Polar Express and went to Silver Dollar City. It was freezing cold but we had a lot of fun.

Fayetteville

One of the perks of the new job-- occasionally getting to hang out with old friends.

Ray

I have been waiting for YEARS to see this one. He did not disappoint.

Also, my camera takes the worst video on earth. But I had to try.

Dave

Yes. Again. This time in Dallas. Beck stayed the weekend with his Uncle Joey and Aunt Djuana and experienced his first County Fair. I don't remember camels being at the fair when I was a kid but that seems to be his favorite part.

Fun Fact: Halfway through the concert we realized that the couple next to us was the same couple that sat next to us at the Tulsa show last year. Weird.

Fayetteville

We went to Fayetteville this weekend to watch the Razorbacks play against Tennessee Tech. We met Myra (my college roommate) and her husband Barry there and did some catching up. After the game we caught up with Beth and Wilson at their new abode. It was much needed grown-up time.

Dallas

Went to Dallas this week. Tuesday night I took Haylee to see Jack Johnson at the Superpages Center. We were able to catch him do a short set before the show with about 30 other people. I think I have now achieved "Best Aunt Ever" status. On Wednesday I had a meeting for work at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It was unbelievable. I tried not to look like a redneck tourist and didn't take my camera in. However, I did manage to snap a few with my phone when no one was looking. It took restraint for me not to crawl into the locker above and snap another.

Gulf Shores

We were able to get away a few weeks ago and take Beck to the beach. We met Laura, Josh and Ayla there and had a great time. Yay for no oil! I was also able to catch one of my faves, Brett Dennen.

Nickelodeon Storytime Live

We took Beck and Ayla to Nickelodeon's Storytime Live in Memphis last weekend. It was quite the production...from a 2-year-old standpoint. They had a great time and also enjoyed their first Rendezvous experience.

Branson

We went to Branson a couple of weekends ago with Laura, Josh and Ayla. We intended on going to Silver Dollar City but it rained the whole time and we had to settle on looking at lights from the car. It was still nice to get away.

Tunica

We went to Tunica last Friday with Laura, Josh, Sandra and Jeremy. Free room, free food, won some money and had a great time with friends.

Gulf Shores

Yesterday was my first day of my new job at UAMS. Because of this we decided to take a last-minute trip to the beach last week. Beck was stung by a jellyfish within the first 15 minutes. Besides that, and the fact that it was too short, it was a great time.
